Chief Executive Officer
Priya is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom. Starting her career as an Accountant Trainee at Coopers & Lybrand (PWC), she has over 20 years post qualifying experience in both Corporate Finance and Treasury Management in the finance, tea export, communications, manufacturing & trading sectors. During her career she has held the positions of Finance/Project Manager, Company Secretary, Alternate Director, Senior Accountant (Treasury) and Credit Manager.
During her career, Priya has gained experience in restructuring companies, setting up companies, liquidation, computerization of manual systems, introducing internal controls systems, writing control and procedure manuals, treasury management, budgeting and project management.
Priya has also undergone extensive on-the-job training in rating financial institutions, corporates, asset-backed securities and bond issues. She was further trained on RAM Rating’ methodologies and processes in Malaysia prior to taking over as Chief Executive of RAM Ratings.
She served as a member in Company Law and Other Legislation Committee and as a technical expert in the evaluation of annual reports for the Best Annual Report Award of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Fran P. Jerome ACMA
Financial Analyst
Jerome is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom and holds a Diploma in Business Studies from The Institute of Commercial Management. He has over 9 years experience in Management Accounting, Trade Finance and Management Information in the Manufacturing, Service and Trade Sectors.
Jerome has also undergone extensive on-the-job training in rating financial institutions, corporates, asset-backed securities and bond issues in Malaysia.
Shivanthi Sugathadasa ACMA, B.Sc. (Hons.)
Financial Analyst
Shivanthi is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom and holds a Degree in Banking & Finance from the University of London (London School of Economics) with over 3 years experience in Corporate Finance, Project Consultancy and Financial Analysis.
Shivanthi has also undergone extensive on-the-job training in rating financial institutions and corporates both in Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
Khailash Weeralingam B.Sc. (Hons.)
Associate Financial Analyst
Khailash holds a Degree in Computing from the University of Staffordshire, with over a year of experience in the financial services sector.
Khailash has undergone thorough training, both in Sri Lanka and overseas. Having attended training sessions held by the Asian Development Bank on ratings of corporate bonds and other fixed income securities.
